Touch Tips (TTs) is a consumer product that attaches to the fingertips of gloves to allow typing on capacitive touchscreen devices in the winter. Currently, customers cannot type on their capacitive touchscreens while wearing non-conductive gloves. Capacitive touchscreens utilize an electronic charge, not pressure, as do resistive touchscreens.

Pending patent, TTs consist of copper brads enclosed in conductive silicone caps. An end-user punctures a TT into the palm side of the fingertip of his or her glove, where the consumer can use his or her finger to peel the two metal stems apart. As a result, electric charge is transferred from the finger to the surface of the conductive cap, and the end-user is able to operate a touchscreen device.
