Antithesis, a team from the Cornell University eLab won second place in the New York State Business Competition in the FuzeHub products track. The team submitted their product Grabanzos; an indulgent and guilt free snack made crunchy chickpea-based interior dipped in chocolate. The team of food scientists aim to be the “antithesis” of other food companies, saying on their website, “We won’t be constrained by fads like Non-GMO, Organic, Local, or Clean label,” but focusing on taste with the best science practices. The NYSBC sponsored by SEFCU featured more than 100 teams statewide from more than 75 two and four-year colleges and universities.
